Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > I was running all over for abandoned house and I forgot the most obvious, 2 minutes walk from my home.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > The moon is in line in front of the sun. Things are not always like it seems.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > It could be so simple to follow a single path. But you can still go off and get there … if you decide.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > A day of relaxation and a little break from abandonment.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > This is sunrise, the kids are slowly waiting up but the cows are already at work. *** I keep finding abandoned houses so I keep going as long as I find some, they all have a personality ***

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > The trees are growing around me, like they know that I am part of them. Once upon a time, people felt rooted at this place because of me.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > Square, it looks solid, curtains still dressing the windows. Spirits are still present, I know.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > This was a morning where vapour became frost.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > They were farmers feeding cities. Who knows where the food is coming from now.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > This house was built when Canada was only 32 years old. In the meantime, Canada entered the Boer War in South Africa (October 30) when the first Canadian troops were sent overseas. Soldiers could not use the newly invented tape recorder (magnetic steel tape) by Valdemar Poulsen, Denmark. Nonetheless, The house is now abandoned, waiting for nature to take over.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > This winter has been sunny! The colors are coming out and this is nice.

Jean-Yves (Ifocus) > I like to imagine this house being rejuvenated.
