Spring is late, nature is dormant but not for long.
I ran into a snow man factory close to home.
This is the time we rest, in the cold and in the wind.
It feels lonely but it should not as there is always someone around.

The reds of Fall are marvelous, it exites the senses. I would live in a climate where Fall is eternal
This could be a fresco from ancient greece but instead, this is a modern digital creation. Made from a water reflection as a starting point, then adding elements as I see fit.
On July 19th, 20th and 21st 1996, torrential rain fell on the Saguenay--Lac-Saint-Jean region, especially on the area of the Saguenay. Over 260 millimetres of rain fell for 50 consecutive hours causing the flash floods in many important waterways. Dubbed as the "Saguenay flood", it is one of the most important natural disaster in the history of the Province of Quebec. The damages caused by the catastrophic rainfall tally up to around 700 million dollars Canadian. Who hasn't seen the Little White House stand firm in the midst of Chicoutimi River's furious flow. This home quickly became a symbol of resistance, courage and determination for Saguenay's population. While most of the Basin's homes were swept away by the current, the Little White House resisted to this raging nature. Why did such a small centennial home resist to the force of the water when some of its neighbours were swept away? First of all, when the Kénogami barrier lake was risen at the beginning of the century, the owners of the house took precautions and rose the building on higher concrete foundations. Was this a premonition that one day the Kénogami lake would flow over? Moreover, the house was built on solid rock, a part of which is jutting out and thus deviated the water , protecting the foundations. The Little White House of Gédéon Street will remain in the collective memory of the Saguenay population for a long time.
