Is this one better than yesterday's? Do you like the concept or is it too much? Anyway, I must say I had help from the kids to do this one. Photographers are allowed helpers, are we? :-) Have a great day --JY

on January 19, 2008I like the earlier image - the ball does not really add to the hands...

on January 19, 2008While both yesterday's and today's are really nice image and I love them both...For the LPS contest I prefer the simplicity of just the hands. I think in this image the hands are required to share the viewers attention with the styrofoam ball.

on January 18, 2008I like the simplicity of yesterday's better. This is good, but it has a little bit too much of a "message." Yesterday's was more subtle and open to interpretation.

on January 18, 2008I'm with Alex about comparing apples and oranges, they are both equally dramatic and stunning. This one could be a poster for global warming or Earth Day!! Send it to some magazines!!!! The textures and lighting are superb...as is the message!

on January 18, 2008I think because yesterday's was so great, it detracts from this one a bit. I find this one fascinating and I really like all of the contrasts between the globe and the hands. Very appealing but in a different way than yesterday's. To me it is comparing apples to oranges.

on January 18, 2008The concept is there, and perhaps it would help if the globe was toned down a bit, but it just doesn't seem to fit the tone of the hands. I prefer yesterday's too. The old KISS principle (Keep it Simple Sweetheart) just works.
